Give us the facts and let America decide.
The American people have always been understanding and unless the circumstances involve a horrendous act forgiving. What they are not is simpleminded, moronic or foolish. Still stories are continually changing as if earlier statements will go unnoticed. However, the recent testimony on the hill and continual media discoveries has made it clear the scenarios given by various government agencies are anything but accurate.
I doubt we will ever know what truly happened in Benghazi but one thing is obvious what’s been said so far is far from the truth. The inconsistencies from all who either “knew or should have known” what was going on is beyond denial for even the most ardent supporter of either the administration or the Department of State.
Mistakes were made, which unfortunately led to the loss of life of some great patriots and heroes but the greatest blunder is not leveling with the American people. Why was there editing of intelligence reports to formulate more suitable talking points, and for whom were the modifications meant to placate?
At this point the media should be developing timelines and pushing for answers as to why the various pieces of information aren’t adding up. This isn’t a partisan politics it’s doing what the American people expect from our free press. Discovering the truth.
